Renowned Italian artist Simone Legno's Tokidoki brand is crossing over to the consumer tech world with the tokidoki for MIMOBOT (R) collection of designer USB flash drives, the latest entry into the mimobot Artist Series.
tokidoki, which means “sometimes” in Japanese, was named such because of Legno’s love for Japanese culture and his belief that “everyone waits for moments that change one’s destiny.” After his destiny-changing moment arrived in 2003, Legno went from being an artist who used his website to promote his work to being an artist who was successfully building tokidoki into a world-famous brand, representative of Japanese pop art and the world's desire to consume as much of it as it can.
